What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, email address, and optionally your organisation, the type of organisation, the subject your enquiry relates to, and whatever you write in the details field. There is no account, no login and nothing you are asked to upload.

We ask you not to put security-sensitive detail about a specific site into the form. If an enquiry needs protected handling, we agree a route for that separately.

Why we hold it

To answer your enquiry, and to count which subjects people enquire about so we know which parts of this field are worth working on. The count is kept at the level of the subject and the type of organisation. It is not used to build a profile of you.

Who sees it

We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to vendors. We hold no commercial relationship with any equipment supplier, so there is nobody we would be passing it to. It is handled by the people answering enquiries and by the mail and hosting providers that carry it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for two years and then deleted. If you ask us to delete yours sooner we will, and you can ask for a copy of what we hold.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to count visits, and it is loaded only if you accept it in the banner. Decline and no analytics cookie is set. Nothing on this site requires a cookie in order to work, and the enquiry form runs without JavaScript.

Getting in touch about your data

Use the enquiry form and say what you want done. Requests about your own data are handled whether or not you are a client.
